Richard Branson is a British entrepreneur, with a unique style and luxury with a constant appetite for launching new businesses. He is well known for its famous brand "Virgin" that spans more than 350 companies operating in various aspects ranging from credit cards for the airlines and the music "Megastore".

Richard Branson was born July 18, 1950 in Blackheath, London. Branson trip started early has published the "student", the magazine, when he was only 16. He completed his degree and started a mail order record audio electronics business in 1970. In 1972 Richard opened a chain of music stores after the store known as "marks the birth of the Virgin brand. Branson’s Virgin Brand has had enormous success in the 80s as established Virgin Atlantic Airways. In 1990, Richard sold the EMI Group Virgin Records to 1 billion U.S. dollars to stay afloat in the field of business. Branson then re-entered in the record business in 1996 with the name "V2 Records, but do not enjoy the same success and then sold to Zavvi.

The Virgin brand has a wide geographical coverage with shopping centers in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Australia, Canada, Asia, Europe and South Africa. The equity of Richard Branson is close to 2.5 billion dollars and is among the top 300 billionaires list of Forbes.

Richard Branson has received an honorary doctorate in technology from Loughborough University in 1993. He was knighted in 1999 for his services to entrepreneurship. In 2000, Branson won the Tony Jannus Award for his achievements in commercial air transportation.
