They say a good teacher will be able to lead by example, and I can not say they are wrong when they say that. There are many qualities a teacher must have to be a good teacher, and being a good leader in the classroom. One of the easiest ways for a teacher to teach is to gain respect. One of the easiest ways to earn respect is to lead by example. Therefore, it is important for teachers by example.
The main reason why a teacher should set an example is that the teacher is the leader in the classroom. Not only that, but children are impressionable and will be looking at the teacher for guidance on how to do things. The teacher is the head of the children when they are in school, and what is necessary to act as a leader. A good leader leads by example, and so do teachers.
If you are going to produce a crop of children can be good citizens, you have to model first. You have to say what you mean and mean what you say. If even the teacher can not do what they say and say what they mean, what is a child supposed to think? Of course a child can receive the message that you don’t have to go ahead with what you say.
A good teacher is a good guide, and a good guide is to lead by example. If the teacher says that the delay is unacceptable, and yet the teacher is more than you, what are you thinking? Did you go ahead and attention to what the teacher has to say, or simply go for a walk whenever I want?
How am I supposed to discipline the children if you are a hypocrite. Even if technically has the power to do so, the child must continue to parents, and the father is the chief complaint of the teacher is not doing a good job. The next thing you know the teacher could be in the director’s office instead of the students for not being a good example in the classroom.
Being a good leader is a quality that a teacher must have. Being a leader by example, is like a teacher needs to lead. I’m not going to respect my teacher unless the shares back up words, and that’s how I always judge a teacher. This is how children always judge teachers, and how children learn to become responsible adults.
