What a great book! This is information every ebay seller or small business person looking to sell on ebay should read. Whether you are new to ebay or have been selling for years, there is information in here that you will not know.

The author is a top seller who built a large scale ebay business from scratch. He reveals stategies he uses to make the most profit on everything that he sells on ebay. This book explains what you really need to know to run a PROFITABLE ebay business and how to make those profits work FOR you.

In addition to information specific to selling on ebay, this book actually has insights and strategies that can be applied to running any small business for profit whether on or off ebay.

I was looking forward to the focus on PROFITS, rather than Power Seller. (You can be a Power Seller and be losing money to beat the band. ) Chapters 1 and 2 did, indeed, cover this topic, and did a good job at it. Chapter 3 was an ad for Corey’s subscription software. Chapters 4-15 tried to cover Everything Else; as a result, it didn’t cover any of those additional topics well. There are other books that do it better.

All in all, a magazine article focusing on the content in the first two chapters would have been more appropriate.

I was pretty disappointed with this book. It was touted as having valuable info for both ebay new comers and people already selling – things they wouldn’t know. I’ve sold for a while now on ebay, this book did not contain anything I hadn’t already figured out or picked up in my first 50 sales. Good for the selling novice I think, but if you have been selling for a while, I would recommend more advanced books such as those by Skip McGrath. And he will also cover the same points for the novice as this book does.
